The Red Head (ie red hair) I think!
I believe there is a female artiste called "la roux" on the go at the moment
French for the red head, presumably she has red hair

There was an just deceased Italian singer named Milva, and she was called due to her red hair La Rossa, and reading that yesterday I wondered if the song was for or about her. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milva

LA ROSSA is quoted in LOST AND FOUND also (from the album OVER). I guess she's Alice, Peter's ex-girlfriend

It seems that Bologna in Italy is called "La Rossa"... according to Rick Stein. PH does love Italy...
