Golden Square is quite close to the London Palladium (and even closer to the Shakespeare's Head) so we took a walk down there to find the famous spot where several publicity photos were taken in 1971. For many years it was thought that this was Amsterdam. It was the sadly departed Jamie Fogg who went and checked the location in 2004 for me, so that we could finally lay the Amsterdam story to rest in The Book. He worked in London so it was an easy task but he didn't have a camera. So here, finally, is the proof! Phil.

Thanks for this I shall check it out next time in London. BTW I remember Jamie Fogg he was a very generous fellow, we used to trade regularly back in the day before Wetransfer and the like. I remember one time I needed a extra ticket for my mate who wanted to attend at the last minute, we met in the pub and we collected our ticket from him. He was sitting at the table surrounded by fellow fans. A great guy. Thank you for keeping him alive in my mind.
