So impressed by Palladium and Bath shows, I booked for Amsterdam Paradiso. Eurostar to Amsterdam, local hotel, flight back to London City on the Monday. Gutted when I had the email to state it was postponed. "Should I stay or should I go?" I went. It was sooo hot in the City on Sunday I just did a long Canal Boat tour. Heigh Ho. I can totally recommend the Eurostar train direct to the centre of Amsterdam...

I was thinking of doing the same, not the boat trip but going to the gig in Amsterdam. I didn’t but would have gone anyway. great concert on YouTube, phenomenon, 30 April. Worth checking out as a second prize.

I have a ticket for the Paradiso show but decided to go anyway.
You are right, Amsterdam was so hot! Not just Sunday, Saturday too.
Never mind, hopefully another weekend in Amsterdam coming up when PH is fit.
I had a 2 hour wait at Border Control at Schipol (9-30am Saturday) and a 2 hour wait to get through security on the way back (Monday 4-30pm). All planes held up for an hour and a half to allow people stuck in the chaos to catch their flights. Then navigation PC on board crashed resulting in a extra 15min delay whilst they rebooted. Then another half hour wait because we had lost our "slot" to take off. Back in Edinburgh at 10-30pm.
What a headache!
Brexit? Go forth and multiply!!

It's worth going to Amsterdam just to try some of the 250 beers available in the bar "In de Wildeman" at Kolksteeg 3. Expensive but delicious!
